Pink Lace (Burberry Inspired)

Hello Beauties...,

Let's talk about this lace number!!  Sometimes it takes a minute for me to jump on the "trend" bandwagon.  I am not that person that has to have the latest styles and trends in my wardrobe.  If I like, I will wear whatever and whenever!! During Burberry's  2014 runway show, they showcased their Spring collection of lace dresses and separates that caught the attention of notable celebrities including Beyoncé see here and many others. I thought this was very classy and feminine.....perfect for an outdoor wedding!   Now for you ballers and Chi-callers out there...lol,  this lovely piece can be yours for about $1,800.00.  But since I am not about that life, I purchased  this for about $25....yes maam!!!  I was a little skeptical about ordering this because I wasn't sure if this outfit would be of poor quality and give a cheap look.  Surprisingly, it was the complete opposite!!  This was my look a few weeks ago for a wedding my husband and I attended.  I kept the look quite simple, but of course, I had to add some color with this mint colored clutch.  Hope you find this look inspiring. Enjoy!!

Vintage Florals

Greetings,

and happy Monday Loves! I hope all of the fathers had a spectacular Father's Day on yesterday.  So, again, I have on a floral piece  Floral has been giving me LIFE lately and I'm sure it will be for awhile.  This "top" is actually a dress.  When I ordered this floral vintage dress, I knew it was a bit fitting, so I ordered a size up.  Unfortunately, it still was a little too form fitting and short for my liking.  Therefore, I decided to wear it as a top.  Well this was my look for church on yesterday.  Hope you enjoy :) :)

Pinkerbell

Happy Thursday,

I hope the week has been great for you!!  I just wanted to jump right into this post just to let you guys know that I am still ALIVE....lol.  I have been really busy and I have taken a few outfit pics to post but they have not been the best.  I am really trying to work on the quality of my photos so that they are clear and crisp!  I, too, am working on a schedule of how I will be posting going forward because I really enjoy it and miss connecting with like-minded fashion divas like yourselves.  I know these monthly post is not the business.....lol.  Anywho, lets get into this look.  A friend wanted me to do her makeup for an all white event a few weeks ago, but unfortunately she had to cancel.  I had the look down to a T of how I was going to beat her face.  So I decided to create the look on myself.  I am all about a pop of color so I figured that with an all white ensemble, my lips and my shoes would be the focal point.  I wanted to go for a pinky neutral eye with a popping pink lip.  What do you guys think of the look???

Beachy Florals

Happy Monday,

On last weekend, my husband and I had the pleasure to celebrate with some good friends at their beachfront wedding.  The wedding was absolutely AMAZING!!! It was my first experience to attend a wedding on the beach and it was awesome. When I tell you that everything was simply beautiful, I mean just that....EVERYTHING!!!  Being that this was my first time attending a wedding ceremony on the beach, I didn 't know what I should wear, but I definitely wanted something cool and comfy, but chic.  I definitely knew that I wanted something floral in the spirit of Spring.  When I first saw this dress on Sheinside, I knew that it would be perfect.  A floral off the shoulder dress...perfection!!  Well, this was my look.  Hope you enjoy!
